Big Research in Tiny Speeches
Conservation Talks: Big Research in Tiny Speeches is back for a second edition! This full-day conference focuses on academic conservation research conducted in Belgium, such as PhD and Master Thesis work. The concept is to give both conservation professionals and students the space to dynamically present their research in tiny, 10-minute speeches.
The day will include access to the museum and interactive session dedicated to meeting, to posters and samples viewing. Conservation Talks provide attendees with the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in a supportive atmosphere.

ACCESS CONDITIONS
There are two requirement for all participants to this kind of events: wear a mask covering your mouth and nose - FFP2 masks are strongly recommended to all participants who are medically vulnerable ; present a Covid Safe Ticket (or the European equivalent if you are not Belgian) at the registration desk on the morning when you arrive > you can find the conditions for obtaining a valid CST on https://covidsafe.be/en/

MEASURES
We will take various measures to increase safety:
- hydro-alcoholic gel dispensers will be provided
- because of the exiguity of the storage, we will not be able to offer the behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Comics Art Museum storage to all participants: we will put a registration sheet for the tour at the registration desk (first come / first-served basis)
- during the lunch, we might divide the participants in two groups: one visiting the museum while the other is eating

TICKET TYPE
Regular: €60,00
Reduced-price: €30,00 – Ticket for students, speakers and poster presenters.
Support: €105,00 – This ticket gives the opportunity to financially support the event by having your name (company or personal name) in the Book of Abstracts, under acknowledgments, in addition to the same access offered by regular ticket & our eternal gratitude!
Registration fee covers documentation, lunch, coffee/tea break, visit of the museum.
Registration deadline: February 7th, 2022 – Limited number of participants.
The conference will be held in English.
